Resumen
Como es conocido por el grupo médico, el diagnóstico preciso y oportuno de la apendicitis aguda atípica es particularmente importante, ya que el tratamiento diverge de manera radical en caso de que se determine o no su presencia antes de la admisión hospitalaria del paciente (tratamiento quirúrgico vs. observación o tratamiento médico), y esto acarrea consecuencias que deben ser observadas desde diferentes perspectivas.
