Abstract
The case of one of the authors is presented, a Military Medical Doctor Orthopaedics Surgeon, who two months after starts a physical training program present pain around the left knee, pain worse with physlcal activity and decrease with rest. First, plain X ray was normal without evidence of injurie. The clinical diagnsis was metaphyseal proximal tibial stress fracture. Axial computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and Bone Scand, were performed, ali of them were positives, however, MRI was the best study to demonstrate the tibial medial platean stress fracture, the extent of this and follow-up showed the fracture consolídation process. This confinns the utility of MRI on ra• diographically occult bone injuries.
