Resumen

La angioplastia coronaria transluminal percutánea (ACTP) temprana durante la fase aguda del infarto agudo del miocardio (IAM) ha demostrado ser la terapéutica más eficaz para rescatar tejido miocárdico y mejorar los resultados clínicos; sin embargo, las alteraciones en la microcirculación continúan siendo comunes pese al desarrollo de nuevas estrategias terapéuticas.
