Resumen
El síndrome del túnel del carpio (STC) es una neuropatía periférica originada por la inflamación y la presión que se produce en el interior del túnel formado por el carpo y el ligamento transverso en la muñeca, por donde cruzan el nervio mediano y los tendones.
