Functions and Responsibilities of the Editorial Board

  • Promote the submission of manuscripts for publication in the journal among the national and international academic community.

  • Assist in the selection of reviewers for submitted manuscripts, and deliberate on the best reviewer options when necessary.

  • Decide on the suitability for publication of submitted materials, based on expert reviews.

  • Approve the proposed content for each issue of the journal.

  • Review and evaluate each published issue.

  • Collaborate with relevant authorities to maintain the established frequency of publication.

Functions and Responsibilities of the Editor-in-Chief/Director

  • Coordinate actions leading to the fulfillment of the journal's objectives.

  • Ensure a high academic standard in the published content.

  • Receive manuscripts proposed for publication and request reviews.

  • Monitor compliance with reviewers' recommendations.

  • Inform authors of the current stage of their manuscript within the editorial process.

  • Inform the Editorial Board about the peer-review process for all received materials, while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Propose the content of each journal issue to the Editorial Board, based on texts that are corrected and approved at that time.

  • Plan and coordinate the journal's editorial production process.

  • Supervise the technical processing of materials approved by the Editorial Board, once they have met the established academic requirements.

  • Supervise copy-editing and the technical quality of the journal.

  • Collaborate to maintain the established frequency of publication and ensure that the dissemination and distribution of each issue begins during the first month of the corresponding period.
