Contributions received for potential publication in the Revista de Sanidad Militar must meet the following characteristics, depending on the section to which they are submitted:

Original Articles

These must be the original result of a research study linked to the journal's thematic areas of interest. Contributions to this section must pass a rigorous double-blind peer review process, the outcome of which will be final and unappealable in all cases.

Clinical Cases

These must be studies based on specialized observations related to the care of a rare, emerging, or re-emerging clinical case. In such cases, the effects of a diagnostic or therapeutic method that is useful or relevant in the medical, academic, or scientific field may be reported. Contributions submitted to this section must pass a rigorous double-blind peer review process, the outcome of which will be final and unappealable in all cases.

Notes on the History and Philosophy of Medicine

These must be documents that describe and analyze a relevant topic in the field of the history or philosophy of medicine, which can serve as a starting point for future research. Texts submitted to this section must have the approval of the Editor-in-Chief and/or one of the Co-editors.

Letters to the Editor
