Manuscripts submitted for potential publication in the Revista de Sanidad Militar must include the following complete documentation in their final version, submitted via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) interface. Submissions not sent via this medium will not be accepted:

• Letter of Declaration of Originality and Non-Duplication: This letter must be completed with the details of the author(s). For articles with two or more authors, the details of each and every author must be provided. The author signing as responsible for the text must be identified, as well as the corresponding author.

• Letter of Authorization for Editing: This must be completed and signed with the details of the author(s). For articles with two or more authors, the details of each and every author must be provided. The author signing as responsible for the text must be identified, as well as the corresponding author.

• Declaration of AI Use: Authors must explicitly acknowledge whether or not Artificial Intelligence tools (generative or non-generative) were used. If used, authors must indicate in which process they were utilized and how the authors supervised the process.

• Full Manuscript and Supplemental Files: Attach the full content of the submitted manuscript and any additional files in their final version, as established in the Author guidelines. Changes will not be accepted once the review process has begun.

Submission Criteria

The following criteria must be taken into consideration for the submission and delivery of materials:

• Textual Content: Submit textual content in electronic files compatible with word processors, without password protection (PDF files are not appropriate for the editorial process).

• Graphic Content: Submit photographs and images in electronic files in JPG (or compatible) format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. It is essential to attach graphs, tables, or charts in a separate spreadsheet file. Images (e.g., screenshots or exports) of graphs, charts, or tables are not appropriate for the editorial process.

• Reproduction Rights: The author(s) must possess the reproduction rights for all graphic material, images, photographs, artistic works, etc., whether held by the author(s) themselves or by third parties.

Once the submission requirements are met, the manuscript will be forwarded for Editorial Review.
