Neumomediastino y enfisema subcutáneo secundario a broncoscopía y biopsia transbronquial Informe de un caso

Resumen
La broncoscopía con toma de biopsia transbronquial y lavado bronquioloalveolar es de utilidad en el diagnóstico de infecciones, neoplasias y enfermedades granulomatosas. Las complicaciones más frecuentes son fiebre, bacteremia, hemorragias y neumotórax. El enfisema mediastinal y subcutáneo es raro. Se informa el caso clínico de un paciente con SIDA e infiltrado pulmonar, sometido a broncoscopía y toma de biopsia bronquial que se complicó con neumomediastino y enfisema subcutáneo axilar y cervical. Durante su observación no presentó otros datos y se resolvió espontáneamente.
