Resumen
Las fracturas mandibulares son un sitio común de fractura en el esqueleto facial. La incidencia y datos demográficos son variables, así como los resultados en el tratamiento. Son varias las especialidades encargadas del tratamiento de las fracturas mandibulares. No hay estudios suficientes sobre la efectividad de cada una de éstas para proporcionar el tratamiento a pacientes con fracturas mandibulares.
